Hi, we’re the Honeycutt family! We recently packed up all our things and made the 15 hour trek from Texas to Florida in search of grand adventure.
If you're anything like me, you finish every holiday season promising yourself you'll start preparations earlier next year! How much easier would it be financially to spread out the Christmas budget over, say, 6 months rather than 2. Yeah... right. I mean, it never actually happens, but I do always end the year with good intentions. What can I say...
If you've ever watched a honey bee pollinate a plant, you may have sat in awe of the magical little dance she did as she meticulously flew from flower to flower, never returning to the same one. Half the time I can't even remember if I started the dish washer, and yet these busy little creatures buzz all over creation knowing exactly what to do and what their purpose is. Incredible, right?
Does anyone remember what life was like before we all had smart phones in our back pocket? No? Me either. In the last 15 (or so) years we have gone from physically interacting with a geographically limited circle of friends, to virtually engaging with hundreds, sometimes thousands of friends, all over the world, daily.
Ahh, the perfect morning. The sun is shining, the birds are singing a sweet melodic tune and there's a hot cup o' Joe steaming in my Rae Dunn "Blessed" mug. Picture perfect, right? I take a sip of that irresistible brew, draw in a deep, relaxing breath and crack open my Bible and my journal for a nice, quiet, uninterrupted moment with the Lord. Life. Is. Good.
